I wasn’t familiar with the book when I watched this movie so I was blindsided and boy was I not disappointed. I loved the movie from start to finish because of the animation style, the characters, the soundtrack and the different themes of the movie.
I absolutely loved and adored this movie and can’t wait to watch it again
I always love it when movies leave a lasting impression on you and this one definitely does. I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect to cry during the movie, but I did…three times. It was so simple yet complex with the themes it conveys and I highly recommend watching this movie for all ages. The themes I have covered are motherhood, being viewed differently in society, and growing up.
